THE BRITISH TAG

How many cups of tea do you have a day & how many sugars?

I don’t drink tea everyday but when I do have a cup of tea I have two sugars (it used to be three but I cut it down) everyone always moans at me for having two sugars saying its too much but I love it!

Favourite part of your roast dinner?

This question is a hard one as I love a roast dinner, but if I had to chose I would say either parsnips or Yorkshire puddings.

Favourite dunking biscuit?

It’s got to be a custard cream! I love them and I could probably eat a packet in one go.

Favourite quintessentially British pastime?

My answer isn’t probably just what British people do but I love going out for a Sunday roast to my local pub.

Favourite word?

My favourite word is probably bishy-barnabees (which means ladybird). I think its a funny word.

Cockney rhyme slang?

I only know one, which is dog, and bone – phone. Which I remembered hearing my nan saying it.

Favourite sweet?

Dip dabs used to be my favourite but now I would say either jelly babies or fruit pastilles are.

What would your pub be called?

I think my pub would be called something with ‘The Pink Horse’ no, I’m not really sure what I would call my pub, I’d have to think about that one.

No.1 British person?

I don’t really know who my favourite British person is, maybe I’ll choose the royal family, Prince George is the cutest baby ever!

Favourite shop / restaurant?

I wouldn’t say I have a favourite British shop although I do love ASOS that’s online.  I would say Jarrold’s (which I believe is only in Norwich) as I have some nice memories sitting drinking tea and cake with my nan and auntie there.

What British song pops into your head?

Spice Girls – Wannabe!

Marmite?

Yes, I love marmite. On toast, on cucumber, in sandwiches!

  4. Hey, thanks for the follow on bloglovin! Your blog is so interesting to read! I enjoyed reading this article. Lol, I have two sugars as well and sometimes when I have three quarters, I add another spoonful of sugar, it's so nice. I don't have it often though, haha. :)
