THE BRITISH TAG

How many cups of tea do you have a day & how many sugars?

I don’t drink tea everyday but when I do have a cup of tea I have two sugars (it used to be three but I cut it down) everyone always moans at me for having two sugars saying its too much but I love it!

Favourite part of your roast dinner?

This question is a hard one as I love a roast dinner, but if I had to chose I would say either parsnips or Yorkshire puddings.

Favourite dunking biscuit?

It’s got to be a custard cream! I love them and I could probably eat a packet in one go.

Favourite quintessentially British pastime?

My answer isn’t probably just what British people do but I love going out for a Sunday roast to my local pub.

Favourite word?

My favourite word is probably bishy-barnabees (which means ladybird). I think its a funny word.

Cockney rhyme slang?

I only know one, which is dog, and bone – phone. Which I remembered hearing my nan saying it.

Favourite sweet?

Dip dabs used to be my favourite but now I would say either jelly babies or fruit pastilles are.

What would your pub be called?

I think my pub would be called something with ‘The Pink Horse’ no, I’m not really sure what I would call my pub, I’d have to think about that one.

No.1 British person?

I don’t really know who my favourite British person is, maybe I’ll choose the royal family, Prince George is the cutest baby ever!

Favourite shop / restaurant?

I wouldn’t say I have a favourite British shop although I do love ASOS that’s online.  I would say Jarrold’s (which I believe is only in Norwich) as I have some nice memories sitting drinking tea and cake with my nan and auntie there.

What British song pops into your head?

Spice Girls – Wannabe!

Marmite?

Yes, I love marmite. On toast, on cucumber, in sandwiches!

CURRENT FAVOURITE | AQUILO

Todays post is dedicated to my current favourite musical duo right now called Aquilo.  Their EP’s are constantly being played in my house/ car/ phone. Human features songs called ‘Human’, ‘I Gave It All’, ‘Best Of Us Go Down’ and ‘Losing You’.  I can’t choose my favourite song, as they’re all amazing. I think this band are definitely under appreciated right now, and if anyone loves music were you can just listen to it for hours and not get bored, I recommend giving them a listen.

DECEMBER 2014 | BEAUTY FAVOURITES

To round off 2014 I thought I would share with you my favourite products in December.   I have loved the Urban Decay Naked 1, 2 and 3 palettes other Christmas and New Year and can’t say anything but good things about all three.  The eye shadows are so pigmented and they last all day/ night.  Although the Naked eye shadow palettes are more on the pricey side, they pay of is amazing so I recommend them highly.  A link to the Naked 1 palette is here, 2 here and 3 here. They are all the same price at £37.

The next items I have loved are these eye shadow brushes from Amazon.  These are so affordable but also really cheap! They were only £1.59 so I had to try them out.  So far they are working wonders and they seem like good quality as none of the hair in the brush has fallen out so far.  I highly recommend these and I've just bought the face set for £3.59 which I'm still waiting to come in the post.  I've you'd like me to do a review on them, please leave a comment and let me know!

The last item is the Lady Gaga perfume, which I have loved for ages! I got this new one for Christmas from my parents however I’ve already been through another one this year, it smells amazing and I wear it both day and night.  It’s not that expensive either priced at £31 from boots, although I am sure if you look around online you can find it for cheaper.

The list of things I have loved in December could go on for ages so I wont add anymore this time.

Thanks for reading!

WISH LIST | ASOS JANUARY 2015

* All images sourced from ASOS*

Todays post is a little wish list that I have put together from ASOS.  It's my favourite online shop and I find myself browsing through there nearly every day for hours seeing whats new. All these items will be linked.

The first item is this basic striped top (I am a little striped obsessed).  It's from a brand called Monki which I love and the best thing about it is thats its only £10!

The second item are these black high waisted jeans with rips in the knees priced at £30.  These are the petite version as I am only 5'2 however I am sure they sell these in normal and tall.  I am in need of a new pair of black jeans and these jeans could be the one! Does anyone recommend ASOS jeans?

The third item on my wish list is the Wildfox jumper.  I have been obsessing over Wildfox for years but never bought anything as its so expensive and I can't justify spending nearly £100 on a jumper.  If I did have the money, then I would definitely buy this jumper, its £99.

The last item on my wish list is this striped jumper from the brand Monki (again). It's £25 which isn't badly priced and would work with layering or just pairing with jeans/ leggings.

CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEAS | 5 GIFT IDEAS UNDER £15

*All images sourced from various websites*

Todays post is a selection of different gift ideas for under £15.  As it’s coming up closer to Christmas I thought it would be a nice idea to share some gift ideas.   As a student myself, I have to budget myself on buying my family and friends Christmas presents so I’ve made a mini list here.  (all items will be linked)

o   The Tangle Teezer is a great item to have in your bag, and if you know someone who doesn’t have it, it would make the perfect present.  On ASOS right now its discounted at £10.50.

o   The next item is this lovely pink clutch priced at £12 from ASOS.

o   This purse is £12.99 from New Look.

o   The scarf is £14.99 also from New Look.

o   Lastly is the Cath Kidston travel pouch, which is discounted on ASOS right now for £11.

I hope this post gave you some ideas and you enjoyed reading!

ASOS | WINTER WISHLIST

*Images sourced from ASOS*

ASOS is my favourite online shop and I’m constantly on it browsing through all the items.  However as I’m a student I can’t ever press the checkout button!   Now its coming up to winter/ Christmas I thought it would be a good idea to gather a little wish list in case none of my family/ friends know what to get me, they can take a peak at this. (All the items mentioned are linked)

The first item on my wish list are these lovely heels! I’ve been looking for a pair like these for ages although a little pricey at £45 they are a great item to have for a night out in the winter!

The second item on my list is this glittery jumper, which I first saw on llymlrs blog.  I love this and I think you could wear this both daytime and evening.  It’s from the brand Monki and £25, which I don’t think is too badly priced.

The next item is the ASOS denim shirtdress, which might not be to everyone’s taste but paired with the right shoes and coat, I think would look really nice!  The dress is £40.

The next item is this Monki high neck jumper, which is £40.  I love Monki and this jumper is the perfect winter/ Christmas jumper as it isn’t too festive but it still looks good.   These Nike swoosh leggings are also near the top of my list.  Priced at £22.

Then these Dr Martens in Cherry Red, which are £90.  I have never owned a pair of shoes from Dr Marten and I’m not too sure if they would suit me and spending that much money on something that might not look right is a big risk so this is a maybe on my list.

This oversized blanket scarf is something I’ve had my eye on for a while.  I love it and I think it would go with a lot.  Its £18 and again from the brand Monki (I think I might be a little obsessed with this brand at the minute)
