DIOR LIPGLOSS | SPRING 2015

First of all I would like to apologise for my absence for the past couple of weeks.  I’ve moved back to university to start my second semester of this year and it’s been a bit busy ever since with settling in and getting back into the swing of things.  That being said I am hoping to start posting at least twice of week. I’ve set aside Monday and Wednesday as post days but it could vary.

Since I last posted I got back results back from the semester just gone and overall I somehow managed to get a First which is absolutely crazy to me, I never even dreamed of getting into university let alone ever managing to get a first in anything.  So I am super happy about that, as a well done present my Nan bought me this Dior Lip gloss.

It’s from Dior’s Spring 2015 Limited Edition Collection called Addict Gloss.  The shade is in Fastes (154), it’s a peachy colour and it looks great with a lipstick underneath or on its own! I am in love with it and I cant stop wearing it, although I need to slow down, as I don’t want it to ever run out.

SEPHORA | MINI HAUL

So while my parents were away in France skiing, I asked them to pay a visit to a Sephora and pick me up a couple items as the UK is yet to open a Sephora and shipping costs an absolute bomb.  Last year I was lucky enough to visit a Sephora whilst in France and ever since then I’ve been lusting over getting more items.   

First of all I got this amazing nude palette; it has 12 eye shadows in it, 1 base, 2 illuminators, 2 eyeliners, a makeup brush and a brown pencil.  This palette is perfect for a daytime look and an evening look.  I’m so excited to try it out and see what different looks I can create with it! (If you’d like a review please let me know!) I found were you can buy this online if you’d like to buy it also. I’ll leave a link here. 

I also got this lip-gloss in Precision Pink Jewels in shimmery, which is by far the best smelling lip-gloss I have ever owned.  I had heard a lot of good reviews about Sephora’s lip-glosses so I couldn’t wait to try this out and I wasn’t disappointed.  This lip-gloss looks great on its own or with lipstick underneath.   Although none of the pictures I took of it is doing it justice to have nice it is. I'll leave a link here. 

I wish the UK would hurry up and open Sephora’s everywhere although I would never have any money, luckily I don’t have long to wait until I can next visit as I am going to New York City in May, so you will see another Sephora haul then.

THIS TIME NEXT YEAR | TAG

I have been tagged by Danielle to answer these questions! As it's the 1st of January 2015 I thought these questions would be the perfect start for my blog for a new year. 

                                                       1. What was your biggest achievement of 2014?

I would say my biggest achievement of 2014 has to be getting a 2:1 in my first year of university (even though it doesn't count towards by final grade) I never thought I would be able to get into uni, let alone get a 2:1 in my first year!  

            2. What do you want to achieve with your blog by this time next year?

I would love to have over 1,000 followers, however that could be a challenge.  Other than that I want try and post a new blog post at least once a week if not more! 

        3. Name one thing you want to do next year that you can tick off your bucket list

Travelling is definitely on the top of my bucket list.  To go to New York is something I have wanted to do for as long as I can remember and I am finally going with my cousin and sister in May this year!  Then me and my best friend are hopefully going to Brazil to travel with our friend who lives there in June/ July.  I am so excited. 

        4. What are you most looking forward to next year?

My answer for question 3 is the same for this one, travelling! 

      5. Your happiest moment of 2014?

Errrr, I don't think I can pick just one as there has been a lot of happy moments however getting two puppies has been a highlight. 

     6. What New Year’s resolution are you actually planning on sticking to?

Well I haven't really made any, however I have said to myself that I need to become healthier this year so cutting out junk food and maybe start running?! (The running may not happen)

      7. A personal goal for next year…

Hmm, maybe to be more happier with myself and also to stop stressing about things that aren't worth stressing over which I am the worst for doing.
